I first heard this song written by Charlie Mosquea and first recorded by Alex Bueno, about two years ago. The original title was "Quiereme". I fell in love with the song and couldn't rest until I contacted the publisher to obtain the legal right to do a French version. I'm glad to have been able to record this version...of course, with new arrangements adding a nice African 6/8 rythm. I was fortunate to work with two gifted musicians on this project: Randy Emata and James Robinson. I should add that Randy ( I like to call him "maestro") is a multi-talented guy...Songwriter...Composer...Producer...Engineer...Arranger...and cool!... Just a great guy to work with.
